OUR MISSION
The mission of the Halifax Youth and Recreation Department is to enhance the quality of life in the Town of Halifax by offering programs and services, in a co-operative spirit, that encourages participation in recreation, sport leisure, and cultural activities while carefully promoting and utilizing the open space,water,conservation, and recreational resources or facilities available in the community.
